THE COLLEGE: St. Thomas Aquinas College is a premier liberal arts and sciences college founded in 1952 in the United States.

LOCATION: Located on 60 acres in Rockland County, New York, just 15 miles north of New York City.

ENROLLMENT: The College has a total enrollment of about 2,800 students in all programs on and off campus at the undergraduate and graduate levels.


DEGREE PROGRAMS: The College offers more than 100 academic programs leading to the Bachelor of Arts (BA), the Bachelor of Science (BS), or the Bachelor of Science in Education (BSEd). Graduate programs (online and on-campus) include the Master of Science in Education (MSEd), the Master of Science in Teaching (MST), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

ADMISSIONS AVERAGES: GPA- 3.0; SAT- 1560; ACT- 22; Decision time- 4 weeks

ACADEMIC FACILITIES: Classrooms enhanced with SMART technology and state-of-the-art science and computer labs create a modern learning environment. Other on-campus facilities include a cutting-edge television studio, an art gallery, a graphic design studio, a radio station, and a library system with extensive online and printed resources.

RESIDENCE FACILITIES: McNelis Commons and Aquinas Village offer townhouse-style accommodations for 700, dining and laundry facilities, and an after-hours lounge.

RECREATION FACILITIES: Aquinas Hall Gym and Fitness Center; tennis courts; and soccer, softball, lacrosse, ice hockey, golf, and cross-country facilities on or near campus. Provident Bank Park, a minor league stadium, is home to the Spartan baseball team.

CLUBS & ACTIVITIES: There are more than 40 student clubs and activities on campus from co-curricular to special interest to club sports and intramurals. New clubs are developed by students each year.

ATHLETICS: The College participates in NCAA-DII athletics sponsoring 16 men’s and women’s teams.

SPECIAL PROGRAMS: The Honors Program provides a 70% scholarship and a highly challenging academic program for students of superior academic ability. The Higher Education Opportunity Program is offered to select New York State residents with academic potential. The Pathways Program assists select students with specific learning disabilities for an additional annual fee.

ACCOLADES: The College is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) and is recognized as a College of Distinction and Military Friendly School.
